Beers Available from the Marquee

Bank Top – Old Slapper (4.2%) A light and refreshing straw coloured bitter brewed with Dwarf Hilary hops. The initial fruitiness is complemented by a pronounced hoppiness in the finish.

Bowland – Pheasant Plucker (3.6%) A light, refreshing ale filled with citrus notes.

Bushys – Shuttleworth Snap (4.0%) This bright, dry IPA style bitter has a particularly refreshing character. Brewed in honour of the George Formby motorbike in the classic film “No Limits”, which was filmed at the 1935 Isle of Man T.T races.

Bushys – Old Bushy Tail (4.5%) The first beer produced Bushys brewery. An appealing reddish brown beer with a pronounced hop and malt aroma, the malt tending towards treacle. Slightly sweet and malty on the palate, with distinct orangey tones. The full finish is malty and hoppy a hint of toffee.

Fuzzy Duck – Cunning Stunt (4.3%) Golden coloured single-hop beer brewed with American Willamette hops. The rub of the hop gives an estery blackcurrant and herb aroma.

Great Newsome – Jem’s Stout (4.3%) The black and white beer named after the black and white dog is now 4.3%, dark rich with a slightly liquorice finish and proving very popular.

Highland – Orkney Blast (6.0%) A stunning stronger ale in the true British fashion, with balanced flavours from maris otter malt and English hops added early and late in the copper. One to take great care with as it is so drinkable.

Hook Norton – Old Hooky (4.6%) An unusual reddish brown beer with a strong nutty aroma and palate balanced with fruitiness. Full bodied with a bittersweet aftertaste.

Inveralmond – Thrappledouser (4.3%) A golden copper coloured ale which has a thick creamy head. A marriage of Pilgrim, East Kent Goldings and Cascade hops presents a delicate citrus aroma and a unique spicy floral taste. Thrapple is Scots for throat and this beer with its crisp hoppy aroma (from liberal quantities of East Kent Goldings) delivers a tangy but quenching taste.

Jarrow – Rivet Catcher (4.0%) A light, smooth, and satisfying golden bitter. Subtle hops give the taste profile on the tongue and nose.

Nethergate – Old Growler (5.0%) A complex, satisfying porter, smooth and distinctive. Roast malt and fruit feature in the palate. The finish is powerfully hoppy.

Northumberland – Bucking Fastard (4.0%). A refreshing floral hoppy session ale that has a surprising kick.

Rudgate – Canute’s Conquest (3.9%) Golden brown bitter. Balanced Challenger bitters lead to a slightly malty and fruity finish..

Three B’s – Honey Bee (3.7%) Golden honey beer. Honey is apparent in both aroma and taste but does not overwhelm

Tring – Bob’s Pass (4.4%) Showcasing Challenger hops – Amber malt imparts a subtle biscuity flavour and deep amber colour, while Challenger hops provide a bitterness which is very noticeable, but never harsh. A great combination.

York – Centurion’s Ghost (5.4%) A warming, dark, bitter ale with a roasted malt taste. Very easy to drink for its strength.

Ciders

Moles – Black Rat (6.0%)
Mr Whitehead – Midnight Special (5.00%)
Mr Whitehead – Devils Device (8.4%)
Weston – Bound Brand (4.8%)
Weston – Old Rosie (7.3%)
Weston – Hereford County Perry (4.5%)
Thatchers – Cheddar Valley (6.0%)
